I’ve had the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people through knitting, and my friend Suzanne is one of them. She’s the kind of lady who looks put together even in her pajamas, schlepping her grandchildren around on morning errands. She knits without looking and can finish a sweater in a week.
The Miss Suzanne Cardigan is an homage to this lady wonderful lady and her effortless style. This open front cardigan is designed to hang loosely in the front, but the back is fitted so it is not completely shapeless. Narrow sleeves balance the draped fronts. The cardigan is made in one piece from the top down beginning with the collar, which is worked in reverse stockinette stitch simultaneously with the stockinette body. When the sleeves are done you’re done! The only finishing necessary is weaving in ends and blocking.
The pattern is now available for purchase for $7. buy now Please see the pattern page on Ravelry for more information. Happy knitting!
